This policy explains what Decimal to Time collects and what it does not. The short version: the numbers you convert stay in your browser, and the only data collected is usage statistics about how the site is used.
What stays in your browser
The converters run in your browser. The values you type or paste, and the results, are not sent to our servers and are not included in analytics events. There are no accounts, no sign-up forms and no saved conversions.
Your browser stores one small preference: whether you chose the light or dark theme. It is kept in local storage on your device and is never sent anywhere.
Analytics
We use two analytics tools to learn which converters are used and whether they work.
- Google Analytics 4, provided by Google. It records page views and events, and it uses cookies. It can collect technical information from your browser and device, such as browser type, screen size and approximate location derived from your IP address. Google's privacy policy applies to how Google handles that data.
- Plausible Analytics, loaded from plau.ainovatools.com. It counts page views and the same events without cookies or persistent identifiers.
The events we send contain only the name of the converter, the kind of action (for example, a result was copied), the option in use (such as the unit or the input style), an error code such as minutes_range, and a coarse size bucket for the batch converter, such as 11-50 rows. They never contain the numbers you typed, pasted, converted or exported.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. As with any web host, Cloudflare processes technical request data, such as your IP address and the pages you request, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply, and keep it for as long as the conversation needs. Please do not send real payroll data or personal information.
Your choices
- Opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or use a browser setting or extension that blocks trackers. The converters work the same either way.
- Clear the theme preference by clearing site data for this site in your browser.
- To ask us to delete an email conversation, write to [email protected].
Advertising and third parties
This site does not currently show ads or use affiliate links. If that changes, this page will be updated before anything is added. We do not sell personal information.
Children
The site is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
When our practices change, we will update this page and the date at the top.
